Irrigation Technicians
Job Description
We are looking for an Irrigation Technician to join our sprinkler installation and repair team. Our ideal candidate has some experience in irrigation and is comfortable working independently, but we are willing to train applicants with basic mechanical skills and a good work ethic.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Activate and winterize all irrigation systems.
· Repair and maintain all irrigation systems.
· Repairs will include backflow, mainline, manifolds and valves, electrical, laterals and heads and timers.
· Must understand troubleshooting and diagnosing problems in the field.
· Set timers to required times to ensure good plant health.
· Understand, repair and maintain drip systems.
· Must be able to complete and submit work orders, log sheets and program sheets.
· Must be able to meet the required billable hours.
Requirements
· Valid CO driver’s license.
· This position requires the ability to dig daily on a consistent basis.
· Able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis.
· At least 1 full season of relatable experience.
· Must be able to follow directions and company policies.
· Knowledge the of two-wire system.
· Snow removal experience is a plus not a requirement.
